Sigh of Desire

Soft lips caress,
brush light across mine,
igniting sparks
wake my slumbering soul.

Touching fingertips dance with glee,
then retreat,
fingers intertwine,
hold on for this moment in time.

Tracings designs on to your neck,
and farther still,
on to your breasts,
excited nipples reach out to mine.

Breast to breast we rest,
hardened flesh pressed
to your thigh,
quickening breath on your neck.

Your toenails trace on my feet.
Slowly I press myself inside.
I heard you softly sigh.
We smiled
with our eyes.

The first thing I wanted to do on the day that I turned forty-three, was to say that I was fifty-seven and watch your eyes roll to the heavens, and listen as you boldly proclaim “My, don’t you look good for your age.” © All Rights Reserved
