Naked Truth

The thing about being naked is…
well, you’re naked.
There is no false illusion:
What you see is what you get…
almost.
Sure, many “I Love You’s” have been uttered
while naked,
but they are soon exposed
for what they really mean, “I want you.”
In some ways being naked is like being really drunk.
It becomes easier to express your true nature,
social barriers no longer have much meaning,
political ideas are irrelevant,
lies are broken down – truth is the reality;
All this, without a hangover.
Some people can’t get naked
unless they get drunk first.
Too bad.
They miss the point of being naked.

The first thing I wanted to do on the day that I turned forty-three, was to say that I was fifty-seven and watch your eyes roll to the heavens, and listen as you boldly proclaim “My, don’t you look good for your age.” © All Rights Reserved

Waxen flame feeding on itself, Destroying the source of its life. Casting small shadows on the shelf, Burning itself out through the night. How am I different from that flame? Consuming everything in reach. Flickering flame and I: the same. I watch, and let the flame teach. © All Rights Reserved This is a companion…
