Shape of the Day

We gather and sit
on cold plastic chairs;
molded recycled waste.
We sip our hot social drinks
full bodied or
flavored to taste.
We fill the air
with smoke and lies,
across the room
we speak with eyes
endless tales
of wasted livesv
in our plastic race;
molded recycled waste.
